RemedyCoachingLLC ("Remedy," "we," "us," or "our") operates remedycoachinggroup.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

Account information: email address and password, when you create an account.
Profile information: name, role (coach or hiring client), sport, and bio.
Coach credentials: certifications, records, or other documents you upload for verification. These files are stored privately and are not publicly accessible unless a credential is approved, in which case only the title/issuer is shown publicly — not the file itself.
Marketplace activity: opportunities you post (if you're hiring), applications you submit (if you're a coach), and community posts.
Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — we retain only your subscription plan, status, and Stripe's reference IDs.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as standard hosting/access logs generated by our hosting provider.

2. How We Use Information

To create and maintain your account and profile
To operate the coach/opportunity marketplace (matching, applications, messaging where applicable)
To review and verify submitted coach credentials
To process subscription payments and manage billing
To send account-related email (sign-in links, confirmations, password resets, receipts)
To maintain the security and integrity of the Service

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that operate the platform on our behalf:

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions
Resend — delivery of transactional emails (confirmations, password resets)
Vercel — website hosting

Publicly visible information (your name, role, sport, bio, and approved credential titles) is shown on your profile to other users of the Service, since that's the purpose of the platform. Uploaded credential files themselves are never made public.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Remedy or others.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your profile at any time from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by contacting us at privacy@remedycoachinggroup.com.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@remedycoachinggroup.com.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
